Dedicated Installation Teams

A good Installation will add life and better performance to all catering equipment.

Having our own dedicated installation team allows Core Catering Maintenance to provide a complete installation service. Fully equipped with lifting and moving equipment to get the unit into place, our installation team are also equipped with gas and water pressure test equipment to check site services.

Once in place the unit will be installed to all local bylaw legislation (i.e Gas Safe and WRAS), a written report will be provide for each appliance installed.

Site Survey

A successful installation will start with a completed site survey. This will highlight any issues prior to installation and stop any nasty surprises on the actual day. A good site survey should take into account – access from delivery to final position; gas; water pressures; extraction; electrical supply and drainage. Once we have insured that all the services are adequate, the installation will go ahead.

Project Management

On all installation schemes, we can provide a project manager who will be your single point of contact, overseeing and managing all installation personnel. From the order to handover our Project Manager will provide real time updates on the progression and completion times of the installation.

Commission

Once the site survey and installation have taken place, the final piece of the jigsaw is the commission. The commission will set the performance level of the equipment for its working life. If it is not carried out to manufacturers’ guidelines, internal components may be subjected to undue pressures, thus shortening the life cycle of an appliance.

Our installation team are fully trained to commission all appliances, meaning once your appliance is installed, the same engineer will commission and your appliance will be ready to use.
